410-C Wood Graining III In this advanced three day class taught by Pierre Finkelstien, you will learn basic veining techniques, how to identify and copy different species of wood, and the proper usage of wood graining brushes. Students will use both water and oil mediums, and learn how to combine them. The instructor will demonstrate many popular woods: straight and crotch mahogany, walnut, bird's eye maple, satin wood, and burls. Students complete a sample of in-laid wood: Walnut, straight mahogany, burl, and bird's eye maple.
