Class description
302-F Optical Color Mixing Finding a color formula is possessing the ability to recognize individual hues. Once a process for this is learned you will benefit as a decorative painter. As you understand the categorizing of color elements, the theory of optical mixing becomes quite clear. In this one-day class, you will learn how to build layers of translucent colors in large spaces to envoke rich and provocative environments. This course will also show you how to use broken color as a technique to create organic visual textures by doing multiple color mixing exercizes and applying these to a variety of surfaces.
"No one ever told me there was a theory for mixing color with glazes or broken color to hit an overall desired hue on a large space. Once I understood this principle, working with color became much more clear."
