Class description
314-C Faux Stone Controlling the feel of space with color, texture, sheen, movement and form is an age-old craft. It becomes obvious that this skill is invaluable when you first compose a faux stone finish in an environment that needed it. Creating visual weight to a space by adding a stone block wainscot is just one possible utilization of this skill. In this class you will learn how to create faux stone finishes like granite, stone block, lime stone, travertine, coral stone, brick, flag stone, and slate. You will learn how to pull colors and match them from existing stones. This is a three day class that will teach you to replicate stone onto any surface including flooring and countertops.
